Meditation Monday: Take Action

“Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Father God, you are the Leader of all leaders, King of all kings and Lord of all lords.

Your wisdom and knowledge are above all else and you have provided all the examples we need in your word and through our savior.

Help me to walk in your ways, Lord; help me to not only be a hearer of your word but a doer. I know it’s one thing to study the bible but your desire more – you desire action.

Please forgive me when your word is not always put into practice in my life; forgive me when I take the wheel, instead of letting you lead.

When I do, convict me Lord and direct me back on course.

Like a sailor lost at sea, my soul is in distress when I’m apart from you.

Thank you for sending Jesus Christ to be my guide, my compass, and my beacon of light.

May I continue to put into practice all that I have learned from you, so I can remain on course toward my heavenly destination.

I pray in Jesus name – Amen.

(Meditation Monday: These scriptures and prayers are intended to give you encouragement for the day and week. The Lord tells us to meditate in His word day and night (Joshua 1:8) so read the scripture, pray the prayer and meditate as you wait for Him to speak to you.)

Thank you for visiting, God bless.
